We are the Ntelis, a Greek-Australian family who opened and have been running the Plaz Panagia seaside taverna and café since 2003. Moving back to Vonitsa from Melbourne, Australia to raise our family, we wanted to return to the "real" Greece where the locals are authentic and the scenery is unspoiled. Inspired by the Grecian homes and hospitality we grew up with, our dream was for Plaz Panagia to be the "neighborhood spot"; a comfortable, welcoming place to pass the afternoon in the company of friends.
Today, we continue to welcome customers not only from Vonitsa, but from all over the world. We want our customers to connect with the real Greek lifestyle the way we do: meet the local, enjoy a swim, try the fresh, local seafood and perhaps drink a coffee or ouzo on the beach.
